WHO WE ARE
American Speech and Debate Association offers competitive speech and debate tournaments for youth ages 12-18 years old. Our goal is to teach the rising generation to speak eloquently and respectfully as well as to be an attentive and considerate listener.
ASDA offers tournaments for students from varied educational environments – homeschool, private school, or public school.

For the 2023-2024 season, American Speech and Debate Association will offer 3 speech categories and 2 debate categories.

Join a Speech and Debate Club Near You
ASDA has a variety of speech and debate clubs. Some are run by parent volunteers while other groups are offered as classes in a school or homeschool co-op.
We currently have clubs located in Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Texas, and Wisconsin and we are currently looking for club leaders in other locations! If there isn’t a club near you yet, we can connect you with online speech and debate clubs.
