American Speech and Debate welcomes competitors to participate individually, with a club, or with their school.
Participate Individually
To participate individually, you only need to affiliate and register for tournaments.
Participate With a Club
If you would like the opportunity to practice speech and debate skills with others in your area, then please consider joining an ASDA club. ASDA club leaders are usually parent volunteers that give their time to create an opportunity for their own children and others in their area to practice speech and debate skills as a group. See below for our current list of ASDA clubs. If there is not a club in your area, we could love to help you start your own club!
Participate With a School
We understand that some schools lack a venue for tournament participation. ASDA offers an opportunity for private and public school students to participate in competitive speech and debate without a heavy financial burden on the school. Talk to your school today to start participating in ASDA tournaments!
